Ian Moore is a writer, poet, headteacher, husband, visually impaired person, Star Wars fan, and father – not necessarily in that order. Ian lives in Witney, Oxfordshire, with his wife and two children and two cats. He loves family time, reading, walking, going to the cinema, swimming, Marvel films, all things Star Wars, reading, and writing, writing, writing.
Following his vibrant collection of children’s poems (Poems, Beans and Chips!) he has gone on to write a book of poems for teachers to teach social awareness (Poems for SEAL*, PSHCE** and Assemblies) and two short stories (Grandog and Escaping Ellen).
He is currently developing two new Christmas books – a picture book and a short story for older children.
Who knows what he will get up to next?!
